No, the Amazon reviewer opened the cap on the inline fuse and saw a '30' printed on it and assumed incorrectly.
The unit comes with 14 AWG wire, which is rated for 30 amps, thus a 30 amp fuse. It does not draw 30 amps.

Doesn't the PD9280 require a 20 amp household receptacle, meaning it will not even plug into a standard 15 amp outlet?
Actual gelled electrolyte batteries need the maximum charge rate and voltage limited to prevent bubbles/voids forming in the gelled electrolyte and instantly and forever compromising battery capacity.
Me thinks 80 amps of PD's seeking 14.4v on depleted small capacity gelled electrolyte batteries would be way too much.
