No OEM on earth is going to force a device to demand an eleven hour recharge cycle. Yet by studying the nuts and bolts chemistry of lithium ion exchange reveals both reducing finsh voltage and limiting charge current, wildly increases cycle life. What is neglected is the fact that a softer amperage will permit a higher finish voltage thereby increasing capacity without undue adverse life cycle effects.
All this is moot. Utterly moot when it comes to easy to change batteries. But when the device itself is at risk and replacement is a near nightmare it skews the situation.
