8 batteries (series and parallel outputting 24V), generator and inverter.
From a cursory search it looks like that charger does have a 24v setting, but it's the amperage you're going to have to pay for in a much bigger charger for all those batteries. It's tricky trying to separate out each 12v set and charge them equally. I've tried.
