Need help replacing charging circuit solenoid.

Last weekend I was driving down the road and my voltage started dropping off while driving. I assumed I had a bad alternator, so I stopped and bought a new one and replaced it, and it did not help. ...

Yes, the relay (solenoid) is the same.
I had problems with the charge/aux start relay. Replacing with better quality and sealing the crimped portion of the can. Moisture gets in and corrodes contacts and coil connections.
I got mine from NAPA for about same dollars as Amazon.
I would suggest cleaning up your terminals and coating them with electrical de-oxidation grease. I see it on several other terminals in photo.
