Need help replacing charging circuit solenoid.

Last weekend I was driving down the road and my voltage started dropping off while driving. I assumed I had a bad alternator, so I stopped and bought a new one and replaced it, and it did not help. ...

Where is the charge solenoid
You don't need long jumper cables
You just need to jump the heavy terminals together on the solenoid
To connect the two systems

I have done it numerous times on other RVs
