I'm not a fan of using subpanels. Lotta work.
I was trying to keep it simple which is why I wanted to do do it this way. The sub-panel may be beyond my DIY skills.
I was aware of the AC and water heater issue and they would be easy to leave off.
I had not thought about the converter. Hmm..
