It's widely known that the WFCO chargers have charging issues with any battery including the standard flooded type. Which results in reduced life or failure.
AGM's generally have somewhat different charging requirements for maximum life. With their much higher price earlier failure can be a concern. If the charger doesn't support different battery types then it should only be used on the supported types.
But those with WFCO chargers that start to consider better and faster charging often install a different brand.
