Sure there's a need as the proof is in the pudding. :p I've owned several WFCO converters in a variety of trailers including an 8955 in our current Coachmen and have never seen any of them ever go into WFCO's claimed bulk voltage of 14.4 volts ... never. Prove it. ;)
Maybe all the people that own WFCO converters should start a class action suit against WFCO for false advertising. There have got to be thousands out there. :)
