New Battery Gone Bad?

2-Month old Duracell Group 31 AGM; first trip out since buying it.
This is a return trip to Sam's Club, I'm guessing?

Do I leave that liquid (I'm assuming it's acid-ee?) as it is, or should I dab it up with lots of paper towels?

Previous thread about settings for charging batteries

This thread is what I was referring to. Selecting settings that do not match your battery type can damage the battery.

Those were me trying to learn questions. Like I said above, this battery has ONLY been hooked up to the trailer's charger. Never to solar anything.

You mentioned in the previous thread that you purchased a new battery. You mentioned in this thread that your battery is only two months old. Was the battery you just purchased identical to the one that you were replacing? I ask, because IF it was a different type, then maybe the charger settings should have been charged when you changed the battery type.

Match the battery to the charger not the other way around. until charging voltages are posted this is a moot thread.

This battery has nothing to do with solar. This battery has ONLY been hooked up to the trailer and its charger.

    house battery or engine battery
you need to check voltage at the battery, when its charging
both from converter aka generator and shore power
    and engine running
you might have Too High a charge voltage problem

It's the trailer's battery. I've never had it on my little Honda generator.

based upon your previous posts, are you sure your battery wasn't ruined by the settings on your charger?

What charger - the one built into the trailer? That's the only thing it's ever been hooked up to.
