Three models, 71530, 71531, 71532, apparently all inverter based.

If these have the ability to have remote start, they would definitely be worth getting.

Are there any OEM dual fuel portable generators beside this little gem?

This is not going to work when 1 manufacturer will list the noise at 25% load, other at 100%

When you always can find naturally born complainers, I compare the $699 generator to same size (almost) Honda for $2000.

Sound decreases with distance. So any noise level listed should specify the distance from the source at which it was measured.

just to chime in on the new Champion Generators,, inverter or not,I was just camping and a a really nice camper about six spots away from us had a Champion 3100 inveter generator, I was walking my dog and we passed by. That thing was as quiet as my Honda 2000 IE, I introduced myself and my dog (Hank), We talked about his gen,, Told me it runs his AC unit and everything else, said he's has it only a few months,, I was very impressed!! it was sitting int the bed of his truck running, I asked how heavy it was, He said, "grab a handle" It had two top side handles that made moving it very easy, It was about the weight of my Honda 2000,(my side of the lift). My wife can lift my Honda (doesn't like to) but when challenged she will!!
I am really thinking hard about putting my Honda 2000 up for sale and getting the 3100 Champion!!

I got one last fall and love it. We sprung the extra $90 to get the model with remote start though
