New friction hinge RV door tough to open/close.

Our new 2018 Cougar has one of the new friction hinge doors and its difficult to open and close. I see no adjustments on the hinge and oiling the hinge does nothing to ease it up. Keystone calls...

Op back...the problem is not latching the door closed, its strictly an issue with the force required to open and close it.
