Yes the terminals on the blue sky are kind of small
The blue sky 2000e limits at 20 amp out put,
But I was seldom getting more than that input
The system was in this configuration for almost three years
I know it was this configuration in 2012 when we took our five month trip east
I think some of those stands broke when I was positioning the controller for the picture, but yeah it was burnt pretty badly
I think this was slow progressive heat resistance , that got worse and worse
That's what I get for not opening it up and checking on it
Yes there was flex length for strain relief
The wire that burnt is 8 ga, The wire going to the batteries is 4ga
The Xantrex has large set screw buss terminals
And no it's not hot here , last night's low 31°F, Wednesday night was 29°F , highs In the 40s and 50s
