newbie trying to build solar system on a budget

I briefly asked about 6v at battery expert untill they told me it was 280 for one and I choked a bit and looked at the interstate batteries online and the gc2 were about 140 each. I will Def keep looking for them for a better price as now though as I am in no hurry with 6 inches of snow coming down last night
