newbie's 5th battery wiring problem

We are close to taking our 5th for enhanced inspection here in PA.
The battery compartment wires are a fire hazard waiting to happen. As you can see by the photo's I've attached.
There's 4 black wires & 4 white wires. Plus the leveling jacks red & black wire.
Can anybody show me how to correct this?

If i use a block like that.
The 4 black wires. shud they be wired 30amp fuse for each of the 2 big wires. then 20amps for the 2 skinny ones? How does this become one thick wire for the positive post clamp on the battery?
And the 4 white wires. can i assume they are negative or ground? just place a battery clamp on the end?
Sorry I'm not real knowledgeable. But i do read well :-)
  • I would get a fuse block like this. Installa large wire #4 or there abpouts between battery and main fuse block terminal. Grounds would go on fuse block or maybe a separate peice of buss.
    Fues block
