If I may add more comments:
If exposed to weather, smear the relay base and pins with dielectric silicone grease. Force grease into the relay connector to protect wire terminals.
Carry spare remote control batteries. Shelf life is very long but remote batteries may not be easy to come by on the road.
I own several of the individual components. The click-on click-off switch is a favorite. Good snap-when-switched feel.
Protect the remote receiver 12 volt input with a 1/2 amp fast reaction cartridge fuse. Used for electronics, it can save your remote receiver. I use a 20 amp ATO fuse to protect the relay. Use on the power inlet side.
