No 110v on battery

Finally took the Enterprise for a road trip. It's been connected to my house for the last month as I've been working on it to prep for a long trip. This weekend was a trial run and I noticed I don't have any 110 while driving down the road...I have a Xantrex Pro 1000 inverter. Thus rig is new to me, so I don't know if this was working before...what's my first few troubleshooting steps? I'm not sure which fuses to check or if there is a switch somewhere I should be turning on...any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is what I like about my Xantrex Prosine (no longer made) 2.0.

IF I set the switches properly it works as follows
IF shore/Generator power presentL: It charges the batteries
IF shore/gneerator power lost: It switches to INVERTER mode and powers TV's DVR's Computers, and optionally (If in use) microwave and kitchen/bath outlets. This includes my Wi-Fi "modem" (Wireless game adapter) that brings the internet in from afar here in the campground.

I can also disable either the battery charger (Which I have done) or the inverter (Which I did by accident a few nights ago) if I wish (I use a different converter/charger to maintain batteries, LIke it's software better, Progressive Dynamics 9180 with wizard)

When I accidently turned it off. we had a power flicker (In this RV that means 3 minutes no power) Reset everything, TV, Converters, Computers, DVR's everything.
  • Do you have 12vdc going into the inverter?
    Is the inverter turned on?
Is there 120vac coming out of the inverter?
Are there fuses/circuit breakers controlling the 120vac output of the inverter? If so are the fuses good and the circuit breakers on?
If there is 120vac coming out of the inverter, where do you lose it?
  • My Xantrex powers about half of my 110V outlets while going down the highway. It may be they wanted to limit the 110V usage while driving? Have you tried all of them while moving?

  • I tracked down a manual and found what someone said, that it is manually turned on...I'll try that in the morning when it's light out but I bet that's what it was...I'm still new to all this fancy stuff ...I feel like an idiot but I'm learning so much every day!
  • What about when stopped? Many OEM inverters have an ignition lockout so that you will watch the road and not the tv.
  • Is the inverter turned on? It does not automatically turn on, you have to do it.
