No AC voltage/Shore power?

Storm came through with multiple power bumps then lost power for several hours. Now nothing works on shore power but all works on Gen power.

I have good voltage on both sides of the transfer relays. I don't really know how they are suppose to work though? When gen is started I can see one side lock in. When turned off it pops up or disengages.

Thanks for the help,

If the converter works on the genny it should also work on the shore power if the transfer switch is working. If the 120 vac outlets work on shore power then the transfer switch is working.

Do you have you have an inverter? If so some of the ac circuits may go through the inverter and the breaker on it may have tripped.

Thanks for the reply, converter is working, found wiring diagram on back of lid and do not have shore power 120/120 going out. Will now order transfer switch after calling both WFCO POWER CONVERTER and, PROGRESSIVE DYNAMICS AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH companies.

Thanks to all that replied; that is what makes this a great forum.

that is how it works. Big relay, with the common going to circuit breaker panel. Normally open to generator, Normally close to shore power.

I will say that my transfer relay is functioning properly then. How do I know if the WFCO 75AMP power converter is working; and right?

Will the converter keep 120 AC/line power from working?

    Thanks,
