Open the junction box at the front of the trailer where the ambilical cord connects to the trailers wiring and to the breakaway switch. Locate the blue wire. Have a helper apply brakes and check for voltage. Check ground wire connection at the junction box and from the trailer battery to frame of tralier. Disconnect blue wire and see if amperage goes away. Crawl under trailer and check connections at each of the brake backing plates where wiring harness attaches to the brake magnets.
