Installed two new US golf cart batteries to replace original T-105's in our 2004 Fleetwood Tioga 26Q today. Checked voltage at battery terminals, read 12.4 Apparently not getting any charging current from our original WFCO 45 amp converter which is supposed to have 13.6vdc output. I checked all circuit breakers and fuses including two on the coverter box , the ones in the power panel and fuses in the battery compartment. I cycled the auxiliary battery switch/relay (OK), I checked that converter is getting 120vac at the power panel receptacle on shore power. I pushed pins into the converer charge cables and read 12.4vdc same as at battery terminals indicating continuity to battery but no converter charge output. Before I pronounce the converter dead, is there something I missed???

Same answer as your other 'converter' post120V AC input.......13.6VDC output measured are terminals on converter where battery cables attachNot putting out 13.6V DC.......converter bad.

What it read at the terminals without the batterys hooked up? Could they be loading down the circuit?

Instructions is right, because that's about all ya have ta do is check it, whens ya got a PD !.

There's a used PD9280 on ebay going for $175. It's not a bad price for that unit.

Follow Up: Picked up my new PD9245C converter from Broken Wheel RV Parts store in Santa Ana($165 +tax) Installed new converter, forgot to hook up the remote "pendant". Removed new converter, plugged in pendant and made a groove in dinette seat top for pendant wire and attached pendant to side of seat base,near power panel. The pendant monitors which mode converter is in, fast charge, float charge or maintenance/desulphation by LED signals, button also can be used to overide and set desired charge mode. New converter seems to be working properly and charging my two new 6-volts in series US brand golf cart batteries ($100 apiece at Powertron in Santa Ana. My Trik-L-Start device is keeping the starting battery up drawimg some charge current from the house batteries. Instructions with new converter emphasize the need for periodic checks of battery electrolyte levels
with any kind of charging device including the "smart" PD9425C.
