No power to thermostat
On our last trip we noticed that the thermostat wouldn't come on, so we didn't have AC or heat. Now I'm finally getting around to looking at it and I was expecting a blown fuse or something somewhere...

Unlike virtually all home thermostats, most of the OEM thermostats don't have dedicated power running to them. the thermostat just opens or closes a line to the furnace or AC unit to start the furnace or AC. that line may or may not be a 12V line
