No Propane Gas at any Appliance

I have no propane gas at the inside stove, outside stove, or the water heater. The tank is full. Any suggestions...

LP Tanks have excess flow valves also. Open slowly=just crack the valve and wait, open a little more & wait, then open all the way.

"BOTTLE" which is removable for filling? If it's a bottle, then it's likely the valve was opened too quickly so the system sensed a leak and shut it down. close the valve again and wait a few minutes then open it very slowly this time. Of course it's also possible that other things are to blame like a malfunctioning regulator, for example. If it's an LP TANK then I can't help you.
Absolutely. In fact just about every spud (the round nosed part that goes into the tank and usually also carries the flex hose to the regulator) in the system has a flow limiter. Try shutting down and opening VERY slowly after 3-4 minutes.

  • I just had to replace my regulator/valve due to the same problem. $45 and about 15 minutes later all is good and working again.

  • If it's a trailer and you have 2 tanks and an auto switching valve on the tanks is the switch on for the tank that's open???
  • Did you just have the tank filled? Sometimes if you open the tank valve too fast after having the system open the auto shutoff thing can trip (shutting off gas flow). Try to close the valve and wait a few minutes and then open the valve slowly.
