120 Electric and LP flame has no bearing on the overtemp sensor. All the sensor does is sense the flue temp. The normal temp operation is 350 degrees. The Recall sensor trips at 700 degrees. You need to post what Revision is on the Black recall box. LOW dc voltage cause false trips on the early Recall revisions. Revision E is the newest. The 120 elements(2) can run all the time and never cause overheating if the ventilation is correct and you have no ammonia leaks. The same Thermister regulates the 120 and LP. Doug
