If it is 5 A (tan color),automotive blade style, it is for the 12V DC control circuit.
The 120V AC heating element is an 8 A, AGC style, fast acting fuse
The 5A blowing could be loose or damaged terminals at wire harness connector or circuit board connector
OR could be Fault in Optical Control Display overlay.
You will need to do a complete voltage check/test to ID problem.
Here is a service manual...pg. 12 has flow chart/tests for the 5A DC fuse circuit
