Only the 1200/1210 have that recall box. Doug
  • Does your model have the HI Humidity switch next to the operating switches on the upper inside above the freezer? If so, THAT switch may be rusted out and if so, kills all power to the controls. Try in both positions(normal and Humdity) to see if you restore power to the controls. IF that switch is in the OFF position it will also kill power to the controls. Doug
  • IF you have a recalled unit and have had the Norcold Recall Fix done you will have a small box attached to the cooling unit in outside compartment with 12V DC wires going in/coming out then going to fridge

If it has a RED LED light ON ----it has tripped cause you got water in it.

Shouldn't power wash rig and should spray water into vents

  • On a 6162, the switch that is either between the doors, or on the eyebrow needs to be on- if it is between the doors, it could well be bad. On the outside you will see the power supply board below the ignition module, there are 2 blue wires coming out of the power supply board- disconnect them and hook them together- they are made to do that.
    Your model has no recall.
