- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerI love OEM who assemble the boards with components that have had the part numbers buffed off...grrrr......
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIINo cooling on 120V AC, on Propane or on DC....then should have 'alarms/error codes'
Have you used the 'Diagnostic Screens'.....#4 & 5 (Fault), #8 (Outputs) OR #9 (DC Voltage? - Chris_BryantExplorer III would download the service manual here, and at least run through the diagnostics- the odd part is not throwing an error.

Have you got a good ESR meter and a good DMM?
And there-in lies the problem. I haven't the foggiest idea what those things are. Which means, in all liklihood, I can't operate'em either. I kid you not...I am quite without mechanical or other stuff, ability or aptitude. I have test scores to prove it.

Why replace the $100.00 + Circuit Board if it's the "board" and not something else - Why not replace a simple $2.00 component on the board?
I am all about that KJINTF....how do I get to know what which component it is going to be?

- garyhauptExplorerHave been mucking about for 3 hours now and I am kinda at the point of thinking it's the board. That I was fooling myself thinking the 12v was working. I just slap into a puddle of water in the freezer and it's room temp.
Thanks for your input guys...
Gary Haupt - wolfe10ExplorerSure, it could be a bad part. But, could be something as simple as a rust flake shorting the igniter to burner tube.
Suggest you start by doing the burner-area tune-up. No parts needed and no special tools. - garyhauptExplorer
