Not an RV question - Backup power for a sump pump

Hi, This is not a RV specific question, but I thought this would be a good place to start. Every year in the summer, we always worry about the storms that pass through and the resulting flooding...

X3. I know folks who use a marine pump on a battery set up that is connected to a trickle charger. Battery and charger are mounted well above the high-water line.

It is set up in addition to a sump pump and it's float is set to a slightly higher water level than the sump pump's float - so that it does not turn on until the sump pump loses power.
