Odyssey Batteries - Manufacturing process

I have been using three Odyssey PC2150 batteries (identical to Diehard Gp 31 Platinum) as the house battery bank in my TC for several years and have been very impressed with their performance. I also have a pair of PC1750's under the hood of my truck.
I am now considering using Odysseys for another (non-RV related) project and while doing some research I came across a couple of videos that detail Enersys' manufacturing process;

How an Odyssey Battery is Made

Modern Marvels documentary - Odyssey Battery

Note: I am not claiming that these videos prove anything about the function or performance of Odyssey AGM batteries. Furthermore, I am not implying that these, or any AGM's for that matter, are the "best" choice for all RV installations... I just think that it is very interesting to see how this particular brand is manufactured, and I thought it was worth sharing.

Cheers

    Nah, the only things in my jeans are a slide rule, a micrometer, and a very thin wallet ;)
    I'm just tired of haggling over "what's best" all the time, besides, this ain't my video.
    I do love behind-the-scenes stuff... glad you enjoyed it too.

    You have more neat electrical stuff going on in that teeny weeny TC than we do in our 5er, so anything you have to share must be well worth it IMO.

    Awww shucks guys, thanks...
    But who are you calling teeny weeny ? :B

  • I've had an Odyssey AGM in my motorcycle for eight years now. I'm happy with it. One battery, eight years, still going.
