Ok to run refer at an angle if on electricity?

You do not have to have it perfectly level. Comfortable is the current term people are using. There is NO GOOD substitute for the cheap round level bubble. Easy and quick to determine. Remember, it is the REFER that is leveled, not the RV. Some refers may not be mounted level as the RV but this would be rare. Any of that round level bubble out of the center circle, you are not within level spec. Doug

Related to this, to get a head start on cooling the night before, you can run the refrigerator on level, and also put in some frozen cold packs to cool things down.

Im at an angle front of truck lower than back. Side to side is level. Maybe 8 degree is too much. It's about 2ft drop over 20 ft. so more like 5.7 degrees. I think that's still out of spec which I think is 3.

inclined driveway implies the fridge is out of level side to side which is worse than front to back. Stick with the manufactures requirements. something like within 3 degrees side to side.

I've probably got a couple of hundred hours on my old Norcold since I got it and half of that was off-level. It has always started and cooled just fine.

8 Degrees is really not that much. Rule of thumb is a maximum half bubble out of level.

Running the fridge out of level causes permanent and cumulative damage.

I experience that once running, the fridge will keep on working even when tilted quite a bit.
But it will not start.

Yikes. Ran out and turned off immediately. Sounds like I'll need some leveling blocks for front wheels to get it cooled off for the weekend trips. Thanks for fast response.
