Dual fuel conversions are problematic. Use a dedicated single fuel (LPG) carburetor.
Prepare for significantly higher engine operating temperatures, noticeable reduction in engine horsepower (= Kw) and greater weeping of lube oil from seals and gaskets.
LPG is wonderful for short duration start and stop generator operation. Far less spark plug fouling, oil contamination, and fuel deterioration when left unattended for months (or years) at a time.
But there are other drawbacks: Limited fuel capacity, need to drive entire rig to LPG filler station if tank is permanently mounted, and fewer mechanics to lend assistance if you need it.
Only you can weigh the pluses and minuses and decide if LPG generation is for you. Don't let anyone verbally strong arm you either way. - MrWizardModeratorMH or 5w ?
yes..i think so...install a carb and a fuel pump
and if installing into gas RV, splice into the existing fuel line with a Tee
IDK know if the control boards are exactly the same
best to talk to Onan about it - 98coachmanExplorerI would contact Onan. I would think they would make a carburetor for it, but you would have to add a separate fuel tank also. good luck, Bill
