I just talked with a tech a little to try and get all the help and knowledge I can and hes saying these mostly need the control board replaced where the regulator is at but have also read where the rotor and or brushes are a good idea to clean and to check the resistance at brushes.., but some difficulty there to get to and clean..But he did say that voltage I'm seeing from the solenoid wire maybe just the battery voltage coming through once its running.
So..Going to school here..lol..Im a lawn mower repair guy these is new territory for me but got to do what I can.
