Onan carburetor float has fuel inside of float

My Onan Marquis Gold 7000 will run for about 15 seconds and then appears to flood out and die. Took carburetor off, removed the bowl, and the float itself is full of fuel. I'm thinking that is the p...

I had no luck finding a suitable replacement float for my 5500 Onan carburetor, I tried sealing my plastic float with Seal-All but it didn't hold. I had my CC in hand just about to order a new carb when someone suggested "Bondic" because its a plastic. I'm pleased to announce that it worked great! I very lightly sanded the area before I applied the bond. Just saved myself over $200.00.
