Onan carburetor float has fuel inside of float

My Onan Marquis Gold 7000 will run for about 15 seconds and then appears to flood out and die. Took carburetor off, removed the bowl, and the float itself is full of fuel. I'm thinking that is the p...

Yeah! Congratulations! Fix-rather-than-scrap! I won't bore anyone with my personal beliefs other than fixing is green - recycling is sort of olive drab :)
