Onan carburetor float has fuel inside of float

My Onan Marquis Gold 7000 will run for about 15 seconds and then appears to flood out and die. Took carburetor off, removed the bowl, and the float itself is full of fuel. I'm thinking that is the p...

I plan to keep playing with the bad float, just couldn't delay getting mine running again. Best case is that I locate a replacement float and thus ending up with a good spare. Just unhappy that I am forced to spend over 200 dollars for a 10 dollar fix.
