Onan carburetor float has fuel inside of float

My Onan Marquis Gold 7000 will run for about 15 seconds and then appears to flood out and die. Took carburetor off, removed the bowl, and the float itself is full of fuel. I'm thinking that is the p...

I am using Arctic Silver by the teaspoonfull. A swatch half the size of a postage stamp weighs .02 grams. Almost zero displacement on an object like a float.
