onan fault code 27

Question

Was running the genset going down the road to cool the kiddos w ac. Stopped for a minutie and it shut down.
Wont restart.
Will fire but immediately shuts down.
No load on it, not hot, oil ok.
It shows fault 27.
While I was attempting restarts the coach was running.

Got home today, started right up with coach off. Could that have somthing to do with it?

Any help is much appreciated.

Code 27 is a voltage sense fault meaning that the controller is not recognizing AC voltage being produced. Could be caused by bad brushes, bad wire or connection, A1 controller or even the rotor or stator.

Quick google search showed the above. Leave it running in the drive way with everything that you had on before and see if it quits again, engine off.
