Onan install... 5.5 or 6.5
I have been quoted to have an Onan 5.5 installed in my genny compartment... What are the pro's and con's of a 6.5 - vs - 5.5 ? Is the extra KW's and rpm worth the $800.00 up charge?

My 7 K onan runs at 2400 rpm and is very quiet. If either of the 2 you are considering run at something less than 3600 RPM, I'd give that one serious consideration.
