- Ranger_SmithExplorerIs it throwing a code???
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerOver temperature sensor sounds suspicious. Latent engine cylinder head heat closing circuit keeping shutdown activated. Engines always gain temperature just after they are shut down after running long time. A bad sensor can act psychotic sometimes.
- ValkyriebushExplorer IIYou have at least 1/4 tank of fuel in RV, right? Had to ask.
- ddspragExplorerYes 3 blinks and over half tank of fuel. It will restart run 5 to 15 minutes.
- ddspragExplorerCould you tell me where overheat sensor is located ? Thanks for responding
- Big_KatunaExplorer IIYou have to drop the genset and take sheet metal off.
The bad news is they are famous for welding them selves into the block and requiring drilling and retapping to replace.
There was a thread with pictures here a year or so ago.
Might be something on youtube. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerWould do more online exploration for you except I am trying to stiffen my upper lip for the Sharps Hospital cardiac ICU ER.
Suggestion. Run generator for 5-minutes and shut down. Does it re-start? Then for 15 minutes, and a restart attempt. Have the generator under load. Then do it again for a hour. If it's a thermal hissy-fit, this is the hammer & chisel way of making it angry enough to diagnose.
