Overhead lights not working in 2006 Fleetwood pop-up

Somewhere between your converter/fuse panel and the lift post is a switch that will automatically turn the power off to the roof. This is to prevent the HOT lights from being left on and burning the canvas or bedding when the roof is lowered.
It or the wiring is broken in that area, since you have already confirmed that the overhead lights work when bypassing it.
