Panels don't run things
What is your response to people who ask you "what will your solar panels run?" (run, as in power, operate)

- I tell them that the panels don't run things. They charge the batteries which in turn run the 12 volt items and the inverter.
- I guess the response depends on your "old man mood" at the time. If you're in a nice helpful mood you can politely explain how they charge batteries and then things "run" off the batteries. If you are in a grumpy old man mood, just tell them to get off your site.
- run meaning operate or run meaning cost?
- Mine run about $650 a pop.
