Yes and Yes.
Constant current paralleled is fairly easy for load sharing and straight forward.
Constant voltage is not, since the feedback loops may cause instability (oscillations) in the output voltage between the two supplies and load - even when Schottky diodes are used in series between the supply and load...
Just to be clear then, you are dis-agreeing with Salvo's approach? The voltages are not set the same, but the units will still operate in c.c. once the amps are set the same ?
