Your PS has only one mode of operation, and that voltage mode. It's extremely difficult for 2 supplies to share current in voltage mode. The supply with a slightly higher voltage will supply all the current and the other supply will be off.
The buzzing noise you're hearing is probably the inductor wiring vibrating when the supply turns on. Multiple on-off repetitions cause the buzz. I suppose you can call that an oscillation.
