This is from a feb. 19th, 2013 post on mauldroppers.com, by a poster named flapjack. It is an email from john, at Mega Watt Power Supplies:
"Here is the email I got back from the megawatt I bought mine from. Apparently there have been some changes in the product line. They have added 80 amp and 100 amp units.
"John Marles"
Hi, they don't work as a main and a slave unit. The current monitoring circuit in the power supply sees the other power supply and shuts down at 36 amps. The only way to use two Megawatt power supplies in parallel is with a $35 90 amp diode isolator. We have an 80 amp continuous 100 amp max output 1200 watt 9 to 17 volt DC power supply for $200.00 plus shipping.
Thank you, John "

A couple things; the s-1200-12 is now $240, and is listed as being 9.5-14v adjustable. Apparently that is a rather conservative rating. However, according to its duty cycle, it will put out 960 watts continuous, so 65 amps at 14.8v.
This is what is happening with the s-400's and 350's as well. They peak when first turned on, but then drop their amperage to match their duty cycle at the OP's voltage setting.
Anyway, the s-1200-12 is said to be stackable.
