I balanced my system by using 10 gauge leads both on the positive and negative PSU terminals. To a common SOLDERED junction. From there, 6 AWG leads. All leads are within one inch in length from the others. Equality is important at high PSU work load levels. I am using FOUR ammeter/volt meter assemblies and a 5th master meter after the rectifier isolation. Meters are dirt cheap these days and it is merely necessary to manually verify each meter's accuracy before relying on it.
When I get my camera working, I'll post some images.
