I run original twin Yamaha ef2000is models and it runs my 13.5btu AC on econ mode. It does surge when the compressor kicks on and then settles down to about 25% throttle and back to idle for just the fan.

Interesting note though. When the gens are not on Econ and running full rpm constantly the AC will cycle two or three times and then overload the generators but on Econ it will run all day.

I do have the dometic soft start kit installed too.
