Not much to look into as there are a lot of reports the Easy Start does indeed work quite well for it's intended purpose. If there's a downside it's that your Yamaha EF2000iS, even the V2, doesn't offer anywhere near the surge capability as does the Honda EU2000i and as such it's difficult to say how well the Easy Start would work with yours compared to an EU2000i.
