Trailer brakes have nothing to do with the trailer battery other than when the break away switch lanyard has been pulled so assuming that's not the case it sounds like the battery could be pooched. Never is everything completely off as your propane detector is always powered, so too is a radio memory circuit unless you've installed a kill switch, as well as a fridge climate control circuit unless you've also made sure to turn it off. You haven't told us anything about the battery, particularly type and age, so maybe it's simply had enough of this life. ;)
That's the weird thing. :) For the first time since we've purchased the TT, the radio lost its memory so I'm assuming the battery completely drained.
I will need to check details but I'm thinking it could be the battery is getting old.
