I lost my job and selling my home and one of my cars. I moved into my camper. I have a little dog and while I lost my job I am fulfilling a "deal" to work 3 more weeks and then I hope I find a new job...

I've got a 30-year-old RV with 30 Amp input. Still has it's original B&W converter. I've never used any kind of power conditioning/protection with it. We take whatever the power pole provides. I do have a Kill-a-Watt to monitor incoming voltage/frequency. They are about $20:
