This forum may not present a perfectly random sample of users, but I am struck by how many of us are disappointed by the currently-mandated "push to pour" nozzles, which I think are dangerous (as well as a hassle to use). Does anyone know if the regulatory agencies are re-thinking this issue??
I seriously doubt it.
Sometimes their over zealous actions to save our environment overrides their sensibility. Especially when it comes to a product actually 'working' correctly.
Those with MH's, as I experienced first hand, will quickly find out that the new style gas cans will NOT function to fill a MH gas tank.
Most of us will never run out of gas in a MH but like in my case where an emergency from a storm left the CG without power. I needed to add gas to my MH tank to keep the gen running. And could "NOT" with the new style. Only an old style gas can will fill a MH. So go out and find an old one and keep it with you! :W
I just bought a small new gas can from Walmart just for the lawnmower simply because it was easy to lift than my big 'old' one I keep for traveling.
There is a little plastic clip that you have to hook on the fuel tank opening and push to have the gas flow. There is no such space on a MH fuel tank to achieve this to get the gas to flow.:S
