Yeah - "we" don't have problems 'cause "we" use the old style "Jerry" cans (not plastic).
Watch for 'em at garage sales, flea markets, etc. - along with the
"old style" screw-on filler pipe/tube.
BTW - they - along with steel "NATO" cans were banned by the EPA -
which followed CARB - several years ago.
Yes -there are solutions, some better than others for the *new* cans - but if it ain't broke (the old cans) no need to fix it...:W
