We had purchased the Renogy Portable Suitcase and since we went solar we have used our portable generator only one time when we were camping in an area that had only liquid sunshine for two days. The longest we have gone with only Solar If I recall correctly was for 11 days and could have went longer but all good things (Camping & relaxing) had to come to an end.
When we were shopping we checked out GoPower, Renogy and Zamp and after much research we went with the Renogy.
I'd be interested in hearing more. How long have you had it? How has it held up? What size/configuration batteries do you have?
Renogy seems to be quite a bit less expensive than other makes (Zamp, etc) so that makes it attractive, but there are some less than kind reviews on the Renogy about quality, durability, and energy generation out there. Not sure what to believe about Amazon-type reviews, but I'd like your thoughts on your system. Thanks.
